Discover your traits and tendencies by participating in psychological research

YourPsyche.org is a place where you can learn about yourself and your fellow human beings. We help you to discover information about your personality, beliefs and behavioral tendencies (as well as those of others) by participating in our surveys and experiments.

Once you complete a study, you will have access to a detailed report of the findings. The report allows you to compare your scores to those of others, and you have the option of selecting specific comparison groups. You can watch a video illustrating the kind of feedback you can expect from YourPsyche.org here.

A list of the currently active studies is available to give you a better idea of the kinds of things we're trying to understand.

A Study of Political Attitudes Show/hide study description

Study purpose and activities

This study attempts to better understand the nature of a person's political attitudes by comparing two different political orientation scales. Specifically, we are interested in comparing self-reported political attitudes with unconscious (or implicit) attitudes. We are also interested in determining which kinds of personality variables are associated with various political attitudes. As such, you will encounter several personality measures and questionnaires and will then complete an implicit and explicit measure of political orientation.

Feedback

When you have completed the study, you will have access to immediate feedback about your score, and be able to compare yourself to others who have completed the study.
